A bit of image manipulation in the name of art

Art has been my favourite A-level course so far, ive loved trying new things like life drawing and print-making, it is now time for me to come up with something to paint for my large-scale piece which I want to do in oil paint.
I decided to use Jack Vettriano as one of my art history artists, I love the way he paints these beautiful, elegant woman and each painting seems to have a story behind it.
I found these beach photos amongst my dad's photography and I think they're amazing, not many people expect to see such beautiful beaches in the Northeast of England. This fits in with my ongoing project titled 'sense of place' and I wanted to combine the two concepts to create a final painting for my large-scale piece. So I played around a bit on fireworks, with blending images etc and these the few which turned out alright.I think the first image is my favourite and I cant wait to start painting!
Also, I finally finished my Wuthering Heights transformational coursework, phew... only my analytical piece to do now..
